Common Medical Abbreviations Handbook

AAA - Abdominal aortic aneurysm - Arterial swelling in aorta usually due to longstanding artery disease.
AAL - Anterior axillary line
ABG - Arterial blood gas - Arterial blood test to detect amount of oxygen in blood
