Thursday 5th June 2008 – Veitch Penny Insurance Conference
Lords Cricket Ground, London
This year's conference will be held at the Lords Cricket Ground, on
Thursday 5th June 2008.
Lord’s has long been seen as the ‘Home of Cricket’ and is situated near
central London
in St Johns Wood.
Our one day conference will give you the opportunity to update your
knowledge of the current topical issues in Insurance and Personal Injury,
brought to you by leading specialist in their fields.
The conference qualifies for up to 4.25 hours CII points and will be
composed of a series of lectures in the morning, with a choice of attending two
out of four breakout sessions in the afternoon.
The conference is followed by an end-of-day talk from Peter Earnshaw
FRCS FRCSC, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Director of the Department of
Surgery at Guy’s & St Thomas Hospitals, London.
Peter will take an occasionally wry look at back injury claims.
There is also the opportunity to attend a walking tour of Lords, which
will include the dressing rooms, state of the art media suite and the world
famous Long Room - a cricket-watching room and an art gallery - with portraits
of the game’s best-known figures, including WG Grace.
The Veitch Penny Insurance Conference is designed for Claims Managers,
Claims Handlers, Risk Managers, Claims Service Providers, In-house Lawyers,
Local Authorities, Insurance Officers and anyone interested in defending
Insurance Claims.
