Veitch Penny Solicitors and 1 Chancery Lane Barristers Chambers have developed a training session which will replicate a trial involving an occupier’s liability claim, resulting from an accident on a ward. The seminar is designed to give the attendees an opportunity to see the culmination of the litigation process, highlighting the importance of witness statements, documents and preparation for witnesses when defending claims.

John Ross, QC, 1 Chancery Lane

The training session will commence with the Chairmen’s address at 10.50am.
The talk entitled “Presenting Evidence in Court” will be the initial lecture followed by
the mock trial, which will also continue after the lunchtime break.
The day will also include post conference refreshments from 3:00pm, allowing you plenty of time to get your questions answered by our specialists.
