The Ogden Tables : 6th Edition
The 6th edition Ogden tables incorporates the latest available population projections taking account of data following the latest national census, in addition they introduce a significant change to the approach to contingencies.
Prepared by the Government Actuary's Department, the Ogden Tables provide an aid for those assessing the lump sum appropriate as compensation for a continuing future pecuniary loss, or consequential expense, or cost care, in personal injury and fatal accident cases.
At vpinsurance we have designed an easily accessible table, which will find the exact multiplier at the press of a button!
We have therefore added a further stage to the calculation to take account of the new approach.
